Well, its kinda sad...
The year is coming to an end, and I'm sure that most of the people I know would be counting down one way or another. Meanwhile, I'll be stuck here, on new year's eve, alone. Haha, well, I did go out earlier in the afternoon, first to get my passport done at the border, and then I went to the Mall, with Min, watched Wallace and Gromit, although I'd much prefer an earlier show, we caught the 6 o' clock one. Movie finished around 7.30, and I rushed to my uncle's house to wait for my parents to arrive. They arrived, and I just got reminded by my uncle who didn't recognize me, and thought I was my cousin's friend, and my aunt, that I have gained another niece. Ah, how I feel old. Haha, and then, we chit chatted a while, and I went back to the mall, around 8.25 I think. Then got some of the pictures from December 25th developed, and then I met my parents at Pizza Hut. Then I'm right here right now. Not really how I imagine I'd spend my day. All in all, it went okay. Min is sleeping over a friend's house tonight, and I'll see her on Monday. Tomorrow I might be dropping by Manzy's place ( I hope its okay >< ) and then go to mass with her perhaps (again, hope you don't mind @@"). If not, I'll just stay home, sulk, and then go to mass, haha. Oops, - -" nearly fell off the chair. Was twirling around the chair. Haha, really dead bored. Anyways, I'll be looking forward to next year! See everyone around, and I hope we all get through O levels~ Well, I'm off to sleep I suppose, night night everyone~

Yay~I'm here. I wonder what the year 2006 holds for me? This year went by quickly, and it was only as if yesterday I was taking my PMB! I've had 2 wonderful years, all thanks to Manzy, Jess, Burt, Min and everyone else. I was really reluctant to come to Brunei and study in St.George, and my Form2 didn't really go well. At least my Form3 and Form4 years went fine. I saw my name in my new classroom, Form5A. How ironic, that I come to school and I go to that classroom (previously Form2A) and I'll be leaving school in that classroom (now the Form5A classroom).
I suppose I'll be enjoying next year, even though its the exam year. I'll try my best to achieve the results I need, and I already have an aim in what course to take and such. I'll be doing Matriculation (which is pre-university, 11 months, if I'm not mistaken) and then take up Multimedia Computing, which should take roughly 2.5 to 3 years. I hope all goes well for me.
I don't really know what else to say, except that, I wish everyone has a good year next year, and may you receive twice as many Red Packets than you did this year XD And last but not least ><>< Sorry again! Ciao! Off to my own blog now! Thanks for tagging Burt and Zy!

Here's another one folks..
Here's another tutorial, before I run off to blog at my own place. Min won't be around for now, so its only right that I blog to keep this site alive. Haha, this time's theres going to be a tutorial and some advices for wallpaper makers. I'll start with the advices.
Okay, you all have seen wallpapers right? And you know your desktop well enough, right? Well, take note here. 80% of people place their icons on the left side of the desktop. Therefore it is only right to place the 'character' of the wallpaper in the middle, or on the left. Not too left, not too close to the icons either. The icons will cover up the so-called 'beauty' of the character. Or at least, thats what most wallpaper critics say. Next thing to notice is the contrast of the wallpaper, never ever think that its not bright enough or too bright, or okay without looking at it yourself. And try mess around with your monitor's contrast. As you all know, different people keep different contrasts for different purposes. White, and yellow, are not really good colors for a wallpaper, unless you know how to utilize them. Might blind some people just by looking at the screen. >_>" Ah, yes, font. Generally, the type of font you use matters as well, although not many people notice it. Choose a font that is suitable to the feel of the background, as well as the character. Never use the same types of fonts over and over in your wallpapers. Go into newer things. And another thing is never use too many different fonts in one wallpaper, 2 types should be good enough. We've covered up placing, contrast, and font. Next thing is background design. Stick to what you're good at if you can. Its not wrong to try making new types of backgrounds, but if you mess up, it wouldn't look good. I started out with Grunge, and then Abstract, and then Fractals. Now I can combine them to get a background I want. Trying to do scenery, but its kind of hard. I can do planets, stars, grass and whatnot but its still hard. There should be a balance between your character and background, never try to make one better than the other. Make both good if possible. And then theres size, try not using scans that are too large, or too little, otherwise it'll look weird, but its okay if you know how to use them well. I think I've missed out a few things, but lets leave that for next time, and on to the tutorial! XD
This time we're gonna learn how to give fonts a little metallic look. Or rather, 3D? Haha, I'm not sure how to put it, but here we go~
Step1: New document, any size.
Step2: Type something, make sure large enough. Choose a nice font for yourself.
Step3: Open up the blending options for the text layer, you can do this by right clicking the text layer, if I'm not mistaken. Or rather, Layer > Layer Style > Blending Options.
Step4: Select Drop Shadow and set its opacity to 85. Do the same for Inner Shadow and set its opacity to 52. (When I mean select, make sure its checked in the box) Select Outer Glow 11 and set its color black, Select and set Inner Glow to 27 and color should be white. Select Bevel and Emboss, set its SIZE to 0, and leave everything else be. Select Satin, and set its opacity to 29, color should be black. Color Overlay (set to lighten from the drop down box and opacity 100), and change the color to the color of your choice. Select Stroke, and set its size to 1, opacity 100, and color black. You'll get used to this many things >_>"
Step5: Voila, happy with your results? Good, save it. XD But of course, there are more effects, will elaborate on it more next time. *is tired typing* Onto my own blog! Thanks for reading and tagging!
