Here, and something else too!
Well, I just finished blogging at DA. Was good, I got to blog again, but eventhough I've forgotten most of the things thats been happening to me it still feels good to blog.
I guess I'm missing out on a lot of things, especially everyone's progress. I guess I'm used to having the internet being so good I can't live properly knowing that its so slow and retarded right now. ><
Right, now what am I supposed to blog right here? Well, me and Min are doing fine together. We'll be entering our 6th month of being together on this 18th. That is if I'm not counting wrong >_>"

Okay just for fun, I guess I'll create my own tutorial XD How to make Grunge backgrounds in Photoshop~ This is one of the first few things I learned how to do on my own, but of course, as I've read other tutorials, there are other ways of doing this, I'll try to make it as simple as possible. Firstly, you'll need Grunge Brushes, you can download them from GreyCobra, or from DeviantArt.
Step 1: Create a new document, make sure the background is white. Any size is fine.
Step 2: Go to Filter -> Render -> Clouds
Step 3: Create a new layer by pressing Ctrl+Shift+N, and paint using your grunge brush, make sure you're painting in black. Go wild, paint like crazy, but don't over do it.
Step 4: Once you're done painting, change your brush to white, and create another new layer. Use a different kind of Grunge Brush if you'd like, and go crazy again.
Step 5: Repeat Steps 3 and 4, make sure you create a new layer before brushing again.
Step 6: Once you're happy with your work, it would be good to save at this point. Merge all the layers from the top to the bottom, do this by pressing Ctrl+E. Or just Flatten the image by going to the Layer dropdown menu.
Step 7(a): Now, there are different kind of effects you can apply to your background now. If you'd like a normal one color only background, do the following.
Step 8(a): First, press Ctrl+U, to open up the Hue and Saturation Menu, click on Colorize and set your settings until you get a color you desire. Play around for a while. Then, go to Layer->New Adjustment Layer->Color Balance. Play around with this too. Got the color you want yet? Good. Now you can Flatten the image again, and place whatever you want onto the background.
Step 7(b): If you'd like a fiery apocalyptic effect. Do the following.
Step 8(b): Ctrl+U, as usual. Do any color you want, it doesn't really matter. Now go to Image->Mode->Grayscale. Your Background should be in Black and White again. Now go to Image->Mode->Index Color. From the drop down menu, select Black Body and hit Ok. You should get a background that looks like its on fire or something. To finish up, go to Image->Mode->RGB Colors. And then do what you want with the background.
Step 7(c): Now, for the last kind of background effect. (Yes, theres more, but this is it for now, I'm a tad tired from all the typing) Multi-colored background effect. Do the following.
Step 8(c): No, this time you're not required to do Ctrl+U. Go to Layer->New Adjustment Layer->Selective Color. Play with Black, White and Neutral. Make sure the Background isn't too bright and messy looking. Now, Layer->New Adjustment Layer->Color Balance until you get a color you desire. Create a new layer, and select the Gradient tool, get a mix of 2 or 3 colors that you like and drag in a \ or / direction. Right click on your layer and change your layer transparency to either Soft Light or Overlay, to your preference. Nice effect, no? If you want, create another layer and do the same, only with a different set of Gradient colors, and do the same with the layer transparency. Voila! You're done.
Step 9: Obviously, save your result! Thanks for reading, hope its easy enough to understand. You'll have to do a lot of playing around to get the result you want! Watch out for more! XD (If I even bother to write anymore XP)
