Retreat, Spiritual Growth...and Mental Growth.
So we're back from the retreat, and it was good. Really good, compared to staying at home doing nothing. Its fun being around friends, laughing along with them, hitting them on their shoulders, and expecting they won't hit you back XP
So the day itself was fine, except I had a tummy upset in the afternoon. So we gathered and were introduced to the staff, some of them we know, well actually we know almost all of them, Greg wasn't there though >_> Peh. The staff were there to care for our every needs (Not really XD), they cleaned up after us and had to keep us comfortable.
So it begins, with the house rules, and then the talk. Oh yeah, we had snacks too, biscuits and some weird-ass fruit punch - -" Chris dipped his biscuits into the fruit punch, which was weird. And Louie was dared into doing the same, except in a larger quantity, so he puked. XD
First talk was with Aubrey, about Jesus Christ, and how he is real to you. Since some people make him real through the miracles he performed, while some make him real, by thinking that he is human, all in all, still human, since he went through almost every single thing we go through everyday, except resurrection. >_>" Imagine someone you know pop out of the coffin...comical.
Right after every talk we are to reflect inside the Disco room, otherwise known as the Discovery room, where its all dark. The Lord is placed before us, and there are candles lit, and the room is bloody cold! ><>_> So there are the different kinds of people, and Adrian was all of them, and is now the Holy Guy XD Soooo right after that go mandiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii~The girls get to go Sister Shirley's flat to take their bath >_> and we get the bloody faculty toilets. Yuk. COLD water T_T...But it was fun waiting for our turns to bath XD We told ghost stories, and we watched and played card games...XD Also shared stores about the old SGS! The old CHMS! And catching up with lost times, seems like most of us knew each other as kids >_>"
So right after that I saw Manzy walking over in PJs (after my bath) taking pictures of us as we marched back to the Parish to sleep!

Aitz, continued from the other day. So we went into the Parish Hall, cleaned up our sleeping areas and prepared our beds. But we never really went to sleep, so we stayed up till 1am or so playing with Aubrey's laptop, playing cards and making fun of Aubrey by calling him a Fat Russian XD Then Uncle Sam came down a few times, scolding us, telling us off to go to bed and whatnot. While the girls came down a few time to get a few drinks. We were actually supposed to watch some movie or something on Aubrey's laptop but we couldn't cuz of some other reason that I forgot. The girls slept at 3am btw, read Manzy's blog to know what they actually did.
Now, next day, we had a confession after breakfast. And a talk right after that, about relationships, girls, sisters, parents and then one specifically only about parents. Right after that talk we got to open letters from the people who wrote to us, I got 3, one from my parents and two anonymus. Went up to the disco room for one last time, reflected and went to write our reply for our parents. Some of us wrote extra for our friends, I wrote one for Jess and Manzy, last minute n_n" so its a little dull and untidy.
Right after that, parents came, supposed to be a surprise, but most of us knew beforehand >_> Went down, showed them the letter, Manzy snuck away to the toilet as her dad read her letter, while my mom cried after reading the letter and my dad cried after my mom finished crying @@" I also told them about Min, her being my girlfriend, and I got a long lecture from my dad. I forgot to mention my brother, Aaron was there as well - -"...So that makes 3 Aarons in the Parish at THAT precise moment.
Went to mass, my dad's first mass in 5 or more years. Aaron, my brother ran around annoying people, eating his Keropok and dropping them around, and my mom got Bryan to take care of him, and then when the mass was over (the father forgot to ask us to go in peace XD) and then went home! Haha, so thats that for the retreat *goes off somewhere else* Thanks to the taggers for tagging~ XD
